LV sells this program as a stand alone program or with interface to LV-software. LV-programs are then integratable into DESIGN II.

KOLOSS

This program delivers a verification of stability according to AD 2000 for columns, vertical vessels, vertical apparatuses, cylinders, chimneys and steel constructions. It has been developed in cooperation with Lurgi and is now used by many different companies. The program considers: loads due to internals, externals, wind loads, seismic loads, different materials, differences in wall thickness and section moduli.
