Free conversion of units – for design and documentation

Values can be entered into the input fields in any unit. After having activated "Conversion of units" by pressing the key the input value is converted to various units which are displayed in a list. The value of any listed unit can be edited afterwards. It is converted to the other units immediately.

The conversion of units of a value is activated by either a single mouse-click on the unit on the input mask, a double mouse-click on an input field, by the key combination SHIFT - Cursor Up / Down " or by the right mouse-click menu 'Conversion of units' on an input field

 

According to the unit of the input field different conversion possibilities for the value are displayed. Move the cursor keys to the field with the desired unit and change the value. All other values are updated at once.

TIP:  Change the displayed unit easily with the key combination SHIFT - Cursor Up / Down.

Set units globally (SI units/US units)

Select 'Settings' in the 'Options' menu and switch to the 'Appearance' tab. Select the unit system at startup. Changes are effective after restarting the program.
