Fundamentals

The program serves for design of mesh demisters and fibre filters for separation of droplets and dust from gases.

You can select from several different distribution rules of the particles (DIN 66143, 66144, 66145). The results are displayed graphically. For the calculation of the separation curves well-known approaches are used.

The program allows you to choose from different construction types to determine the most economical separator. The parameter study feature of the ATLAS program system lets you get a feel for the influence of the different parameters on your separator.
