Starting with the required bolt force under installed condition, which can be calculated from AD-Merkblatt B7 or DIN 2505, as well as the bolt geometry and the coefficient of friction, the bolting torque is calculated for rigid or reduced shank bolts.
The bolting torque calculated in this module is the sum of the frictional moment of the head and the thread.
