301 module Fundamentals:Among different German and international calculation methods for the design of cylinders under internal pressure, TRD 301 provides the user with one of the most extensive regulation sets. The TRD301 is not limited to the simple determination of the cylinder wall thickness, but it offers a variety of further calculation methods, which cover related topics. Thus, different nozzle arrangements and first of all oblique or tangential nozzles can be considered. It is possible to consider pulsating pressure and temperature loading, and different load cases for start-up and shutdown can be calculated. |

The module 301 covers the calculations according to TRD 301. A material data base is attached to this module, which considers the conditions according to TRD 300. If necessary, the user can refer to the saturated steam curve of the water vapour tables, such that the calculation temperature for the design pressure can be determined, analogously to TRD300.

Appendix 1 is valid for the recalculation of components, which are designed according to TRD 301 with regard to varying stresses, caused by internal pressure on one hand and radial temperature differences on the other hand at hereby maximally stressed places.
Additionally we offer software for calculations of openings and nozzles in cylindrical shells of drums, headers, as well as pipes according to EN 12952-3 (AUZY)
