If pressure vessels are built on support feet, locally varying stresses have to be expected in the region of the connection between the support feet and the vessel end, for the support feet itself and their anchorage in the foundation. Additionally to the pressure load, wind loads, dead loads as well as other external forces and moments must be considered.
The general stability proof of vessels with dished ends on support feet can be performed with the module S3.3. The support feet can be fixed on the ground with or without reinforcing pads and anchored on quadratic or circular foundations.
