Covers for manholes acc. DIN EN 14025(6.3.6):2008-08
Flat or dished covers for manholes can be calculated with module DECK according to EN 14025. The program calculates the required cover thickness and the required bolt area. A flat or dished design type can be selected at program start and an appropriate input window follows with the required input values for the calculation. The input window is dynamically adapted according to the specifications and displays only the required input data and equations. For example, the required cover thickness for a full face gasket is independent from the bolt force. For a narrow face gasket additional input data and equations for the static forces are displayed.

Minimum thickness and test pressure according to EN 14025 / ADR / RID
EN 14025 requires consideration of a dynamic pressure Pdyn under twice the gravitational acceleration 2*g in axial direction. The calculation pressure PC acc. to ADR depends also on the vapor pressure at 50°C pvap and the boiling point (over or under 35°C). A table for the test pressure is given in EN 14025 Appendix A.4. |

Selection and documentation of materials for pressure vessel design
The program determines the allowable material properties dependent on temperature, workpiece geometry, regulation standard and delivery standard. Own values can be added to a custom material table. All values are displayed on screen and may be printed, copied into the clipboard, saved as a file (e.g. for further processing in Microsoft WORD) or transferred to any of our calculation modules e.g. AD 2000 / EN / ASME / TRD calculation program.
The material server is bilingual. You can switch from German to English and vice versa. |
