Calculation of flange connections according to DIN 2505
Fundamentals:
The strength proof of flanges can be performed according to German standards, the AD-Merkblaetter, the DIN 2505 pre-standard of 1968 and the yellow pages DIN 2505 (1990 edition). The module 2505 bases on the 1990 yellow edition.
The program performs the flange calculation according to the yellow edition of 1990. It determines the allowance of existing stresses at integral and slip-on welding flanges under consideration of internal pressure, gasket forces and external forces.
