Flat walls acc. to TRD 305 (305)

Calculation of flat walls, anchorages and reinforcements according to TRD 305

Module 305

Fundamentals:

The calculation of pressure loaded flat areas is carried out with the help of coefficients, which consider the influence of boundary conditions, geometric shapes and openings. To reduce the effective span width, large flat walls are strengthened by staytubes, staybolts, diagonal stays or welded supports.

Program features:

With the module 305 the following components can be proved:

1.welded-on tube sheets without and with bleed groove, with or without opening, respectively, of circular, rectangular or elliptical shape.

2.flanged flat plate with and without opening.

3.free horizontal or bolted plates, with or without opening, respectively, of circular, rectangular or elliptical shape.

4. circular bolted plates with additional bending moment.

5.single-sided or double-sided welded-in plates, with or without opening, respectively, of circular, rectangular or elliptical shape.

6. flat annular plates with longitudinal anchorages in the middle.

7. uniformly or non-uniformly anchored fields.

8. flat walls between effective reinforcements, according to the largest imbedded circle or the largest imbedded rectangle.

9. welded-in, bolted-in or rolled-in hanger rods and bolts.

10.welded-on stiffeners.
