Module package AD / Section S3.0-4
Besides the pure membrane stress at pressure vessel walls, various additional external loads can appear. The section S of the AD 2000 Merkblaetter covers such additional loads, which are caused by support skirts, support feet, support brackets or support saddles.
On the base of the AD 2000 Merkblaetter section S, the programs determine all additional stresses and perform an appropriate stress superposition. Each single code was converted into an independent program, which can be linked as module to all other calculations, as e. g. B1.
The ATLAS modules for the AD regulation set are already for years in use by many clients. Revisions of the AD 2000 Merkblaetter are incorporated in existing modules, after careful verification.
