B1 module
Cylindrical and spherical shells are loaded by internal pressure. To avoid failure of the construction, the wall thickness must be dimensioned appropriately.
The module B1 determines the required wall thickness of cylindrical or spherical shells under internal pressure. For the actual wall thickness, the limit dimensions of openings are indicated, which require no additional proof.
The calculations can be performed with the Euronorm modules EN07 and EN08 (Shells under internal and external pressure) as well.
