IGEL module Program featuresThe IGEL module performs a complete stress and strain calculation for a part of a vessel e.g. a head of an agitated vessel or a shell with a simple or complex geometrical arrangement of nozzles. It is a stand alone program but can also be used supplementary to AD B9 / TRD 301 and 303 / ASME Ug37. The usual data for the vessel as well as the geometrical data of the nozzle and the position of the nozzle are needed as input data. The required wall thickness of the vessel, the geometrical dependency and the maximum load of the determining nozzle or the determining adjacent nozzles are the results. The program checks which nozzles effect each other, which nozzles don't have to be proofed and which are the critical nozzles. The complete calculation of the nozzles which have to be proofed is performed by another program and can be documented.. |
