Fundamentals:

Many process units require the introduction of inert gases or inert heat transfer fluids. Helium finds an application where a potentially dangerous situation requires the use of a noble gas and where at the same time a relatively high heat capacity is desired.

Program features:

The program generates values for the thermal and transport properties of gaseous helium as a function of temperature and pressure.

The range of application is from 1 to 100 bar, and from 20 to 1500 °C.
