For many chemical and process engineering applications a knowledge of the thermodynamics of aqueous systems is required. The composition of the vapor/liquid phase distribution is necessary for thermal equipment design.

Program features:

The H2SO4 module generates the phase equilibria and properties of sulfuric acid. The following properties can be determined as a function of pressure, temperature and composition:

• density
• thermal conductivity
• dynamic viscosity
• kinematic viscosity
• specific heat capacity
• Prandtl number
• surface tension (0 °C)

The property data are generated from tables of experimental data.
