Calculation and simulation of control valves

Fundamentals

The calculations are based on VDMA 24422 and DIN IEC 60534.

Program features

1. Calculation of the K_v value
   - for incompressible and compressible media as well as saturated and superheated steam
   - for two-phase flow

2. Calculation of sound level
   - for incompressible media
   - for compressible media with cavitation

3. Calculation of unsteady-state flow in a single pipe according to the long pipe model (for example, system- - drum - piping - valve - drum). The user enters the pressure drop, the resistance factor of the valve and/or the end velocity, then the missing parameters such as velocity and volumetric flow are calculated for any later point in time.
