Performance test documents for air coolers according to VDI 2049

Fundamentals:

Contracts for the design of air coolers the performance of the supplied air cooler which must be proven by a test. During the test procedure the actual performance data are measured and compared to the design data. Most often test conditions (process side variables and air temperature/humidity) will not coincide with the design data. The test conditions must then be converted into the guarantee conditions and the equipment performance evaluated accordingly.

Program features:

The exchanger first modeled using the corresponding design module (AC or OVAL) and then the process simulated under different process conditions. The computed data are listed in tabular form and represented in a nomogram.

This nomogram can directly be used to compare test data with performance guarantees. The module creates the nomogram also as a DXF-file so that it may be printed by a plotter.
